Removal of Patchers and Drones •••••(complete) IGBC

Basic agreement on the N.C - patchers and drones must go, due to the broken design (hiigarans using population-free progenitor ships).

Removal is required.

This is removal within CE8.6 right?

I think not. Seen as if you delete them in CE8.6 you're still with CE and not in Rebirth.

Rebirth: Fine/yes.
CE: No/rather not.

Why not? The goal is trying to get the transition to be as smooth as possible.
Also, we've had complaints from lots of people about patcher repairing... i don't see the issue.

Resource collectors will still be able to do the repairing tasks, and drones... well they are doing the task of bombers and plasma corvettes. Also, shuttles may be overpowered even without the support of these.

Hmm... True... Thrash 'em then.

Yes. They should definitely go. Both are well surplus to requirements. Wasting space.

what are we going to do about the shuttles, both their roles (drones and Juggs) are now gone.

The shield radius is really good, as is the AM coverage. Just one of these can make 2 modular cruisers beat 4 vaygr cruisers.
