Cool idea. Maybe plausible to be put in Campaign missions as an easter egg?
Also: How and what technology are you thinking of? And once one of the factions has captured and used the research will it be destroyed for all? Will this be script-able?
Hmm... Great idea, indeed. But the percentage of this being a success is rather low... As far as I know, that is.

I'm not sure how to... unless we put a subsystem requirement on the techs, with the subsystem being individual on each megalith. What were you thinking of anyway?
