Think about the hyperspace cores

There was no mention of hyperspace cores in HW1, It was introduced in HW2 that seems the kind of device that gives allow you to use hyperspace. The problem is there are only three cores, there are more factions that can hyperspace, I wonder how things would work out in HW1 sense Taiidan and other HW1 faction do not have one of these cores.

HW2's canon explained how all of the non-Bentusi races received hyperspace technology. Essentially the Bentusi gave them cheap Chinese knockoffs.
