Wrath of Maakan Pack
First of all, i would like to thanks the whole Complex Enhanced Team for offering me to join them. As Naka asked me, i repost my concepts here
"I think that Vaygrs lacks of ships/stations/units in general, that's why i began to work on a Vaygr ships and miscellanous stuff pak.
Here is a list of what i already made:
_a cruiser class ship with heavy ion beam, designed to be fast
_a destroyer class ship, designed to be fast too, because vaygrs are supposed to be kind of nomadic raiders, however hiigy's ships are faster in Complex 8.4.3
_a mining operations station, with hull defense and kinetic cannons slots, able to build harvest and defense modules for example
_a late game heavy fighter, only buildable by mining operations station, with a missile upgrade like the shiry
_a vaygr point defense turret

Of course, the sizes are not proportionnals :p
I'm a noob at texturing, so if somebody wants the models to texture it, he cans!"

I could imagine that cruiser replacing the Artillery Cruiser, seeing how it's weapon is completely useless. Perhaps arm it with pulse lasers? (we already have an ion cruiser)
I don't know about the destroyer, perhaps it could be a light cruiser instead, replacing the current standard cruiser? Just give it the equal number of guns. Suggesting this because the current cruiser doesn't match the vaygr design outlines.
The fighter I'm not sure about right now, because all roles are covered really.
For the turret I'd definitely need to ask for a pulse laser armament.

I totally agree, the actual artillery cruiser deals about 0 damages. maybe put a heavy pulse laser in the nose [i speak about my cruiser model], which would fire 5-6 laser pulses in 2-3 secondes, every x seconds? For the fighter, taht was just a concept, it's true taht Vaygr fighters are already great and numerous. For the turret, let's put 4 rapid fire pulse laser maybe?

Pulse lasers are very powerful, so careful with that. The artillery cruiser should fire 6 shots, whereas the turret should fire 2. Use the shots of the artillery frigate.

OK, i don't know how powerfull pulse laser are, so do as you want

ok! so if artillery cruiser shots 6 times, each pulse will be x times weaker than a battlecruiser one? someting like 3-4 times less powerfull?

Well, at least, this is straightforward...
Curiously, I always thinked that the station was the strangest model, due to the chimney.

Agreed, but if prefer a "I don't like it because" rather than a "I don't like", it's much more helpfull

I think these are too pointy to fit in alongside the hw2 ships. I am referring to the prongs on the front of the ships. Most of the ships in hw2 have a sleek or boxy profile, which creates a strong minimalist feel in my opinion. I think the complex shapes of these shapes will interfere with that. However I do think that the detail in the bomber is exquisite, and only dislike the front prongs again.
this main reason I like the station is its simple shape and industrial accents (chimneys). the industrial elements set it apart from the ships of any race, and suggest it is a non combat ship. I think it is perfect as an objective marker, or general scenery piece. However I would adjust it, moving the bays inside the main hull, to bring it into line with all the other hw2 ships.
