Some map fixes (CANCELLED)
ALC, the two maps you provided have major bugs in the sensors manager. Have a look.
Also, the pictures you provided are way too large. Can you please re-size them so that they are identical with other overlays? Also, please make sure about the format of the information.
Another bug, loading these big maps takes so long, that the subsystems don't get spawned soon enough in order to prevent losing the extra RU (the RU supply shows up too late, and the RUs drop back to 5000)

Yep, I think the background is simply not large enough for that sensor ring.
Perhaps decrease size of the map?

The maps contain vast quantities of RUs. Is this really a significant issue? Now the interface refresh rates will be much faster, so the starting RUs might work.

Cancelling task, the map development group ought to create maps which are similarly huge, however small enough to work properly. The layouts could surely be used for templates, though.
I see no reason why a 1000 km map wouldn't work.

The maps work fine apart from the sensors manager issue, so fixing it ought to be possible.
