Vaygr Hyperspace Core •••••(complete) Nakamura
The Hiigarans have a way of resurrecting the Pride - a very handy tool for endgame comebacks.
I propose we use the same mechanic for Vaygr, since they own a hyperspace core of their own.
Finally a new feature for Vaygr would be nice!

If we could make that core different than the Hiigaran one but with the same mechanics, that'd be great!
Different as in look at the Sajuuk mission. Where you blow up Makaan. If I'm correct it's a different core as the Hiigaran one. OR it's the same. Like the Bentusi one is the same as the Hiigaran one (If you put all the pieces together.). Then my argument is invalid. Therefore we should just copy-and-paste the code and change some codes.
What also would be cool is that to acquire longer than 5 Km hyperspaces and little to no recharge time, is to drop (Like in the Bentusi levels.) the core-pieces randomly on the map. You then have to search for them. Once you find all 3 pieces you can jump across the map. But that's a story for a different time, date and topic.

Yup. That's the moment I had in mind. Idk why I thought they were different. W/e. Good enough.
Re: Vaygr Hyperspace Core •••••(complete) Nakamura
Delaying this. It'll be done for 8.6. Testing is more important now.

Time to flagship rush. Hyperspace module + defensive module -> Defensive gun upgrade -> Rush enemy mothership. Awww yis.
On a more serious note, do we need this? It feels like this enables the starcraft tactic of running a worker away to build a nexus/hatch/CC somewhere else on the map to avoid defeat

It's not that hard to hunt cores down. We could however slow their speed down considerably... they dont even have engines.
The point of this is to provide a chance for a come back in late game where your flagship gets destroyed.

They needed to be transported by 2 resource collectors in the campaign. Why not make that true?
