This task is so huge, that I'd like to assign one area to any member who'd like to do it. Of course you're allowed to apply for more.

I suggest Walkop for some of these, if he has time for it.

He's busy right now. Farcrada will doublecheck his own work sometime, if I'm right.
But yes, Walkop is more than welcome to do it. Subsystems are TERRIBLE btw.

It's a big looong job. I did it with Sagyxil and Walkop (on most of c7, I think) but a lot has changed since then.

Believe it or not, I had fun doing it. Ofcourse, it's VERY time consuming. But for me that doesn't matter, it's needed after all. Some of the descriptions didn't even have anything in them...

Good stuff.
Having all the descriptions filled in will add a LOT to the gameplay.
Maybe it got left out because Mr B found it unexciting...

There was one with the marine frigate. Can't remember what exactly, but it was funny imo.

There are so many, lol - I spent weeks on it originally. Sadly, none of my corrections were implemented and I've lost them since then. :/

Anyway, there are so many subtle mistakes (Civillian Barracks, for example, versus Civilian Habitation. BARRACKS? REALLY?).

I'd be willing to look over Hiigaran ships and subsystems, they need COMPLETE rewrites. 90% of them. There's no point in fixing them when they are inherently flawed - especially the equipment fitout lists. The pluralization, capitalization, and prose is just plain incorrect.

I'll start work on subsytems right away.

I do want to point out, though, that we can actively start focussing on the grammar while they are doing the code overhaul. I'm revisting my credits menu-, loadingscreen-, logo-, etc. scripts and removing the most errors and complications from there. When they're working on the code, we have time to finish up the grammar.

But you're always free to start already.

Curious, if given the specs/decriptions of the Vagyr tech tree. I be more than happy to write those out. Also, if given such task is there a desire format? Finally I also once all these are finished a manual would be awesome to elaborate on what each unit does.

The desire right now is to go with american spelling, and completely re-write broken descriptions.
Until the next release is ready, this task shouldn't be started, really.
Do you know how to decompile .bigs?

The vaygr tech tree task could be yours after we make the 8.5 release.

I do know how to decompile BIGs. I agree that if there are any broken descriptions that will need to remedied.
