Revoicing Complex Enhanced

This is something I already talked about on the old forums but I wanted to address it again here:

We should revoice the game. Which would mostly include Vaygr voices. I really really like the original Vaygr voice but the battle chatter is the same as for Hiigarans. And I mean while we're at creating new scripts and chat lines for Vaygr we can just do the same for Hiigarans as well :p

Also I'd like to hear some female Vaygr voices :p Somebody with a voice like Allison Scagliotti would probably do the trick

I wanna hear your thoughts about this idea.

Some female fighter pilots also (a nod to K Sackhoff) would be good for the Hiigarans. Perhaps there could be a greater variety of chatter too?

Indeed. More chatter. More voices. WOOAAAAAH If we could actually get Katee Sackhoff to voice act for us I'd just DIE! XD

But yea. We'd have to create a map of all the chatter. Then rescript that. And then contact people. Also how would the stuff be recorded?

LOL, I was just thinking that as I typed it!! (Apparently she's quite approachable). I saw her once (in the company of a zillion others) at a Galactica screening in Portland (her home town) where she answered some questions from the audience.

Wow that's really cool I think the first thing we could try is tweet at her :p She retweets and answers quite a few questions on twitter.

I dunno, would Starbuck guest on a game mod...... then, she did do Big Ban Theory!

She voice acted one of the Deathwatch officers on the Star Wars The Clone Wars series, the last season I believe. And somebody like Alison Scagliotti already has a naturally deep and bad ass voice :p I'll open up a Google document in a bit where we can brainstorm chatter ideas. Maybe pull the old ideas off the Complex forum? (Bill and I (duh xD) had worked on that before)

Ship types should be: Fighter, Corvette, Frigate, Capital, Super-capital, Utility. If you wanna see the list view where you can search for specific groups click on View --> List.

I'm just going over some code with IGBC getting a rundown of what's where :p First time that I'm working on code that I didn't write the framework for :/ Kinda confusing.

I'll start adding the chatters from the old forum to the Google document. And I rely on others to help as well with new ideas. I don't wanna be the only one adding ideas :p You don't even need a google account to post in the spreadsheet. And it's anonymous too :p
